Student Affiliate Membership

Are you currently studying to become a doctor of optometry?  If so, that makes this the perfect time to join the AAO as a student member.  It’s an easy process, it’s free of charge, and it offers a number of benefits that will help you take an inside look at practicing in Alberta.
Benefits include:
• the monthly newsletters, which include relevant articles, interesting cases, billing tips and general news about those things impacting optometry;  
• discounted fees for the AAO Annual Conference;
• member credentials, so you can access the members only section of the AAO website – check out jobs in Alberta; the billing guide; drug app; and member resources; and 
• all member discounts are available to students, too.
Once you are a member, you can also take advantage of the matching service, which connects graduates looking for employment within Alberta and optometric practices looking for doctors.
