Focused Optometry is looking for an experienced Optician/Dispenser to join our friendly, diverse, and busy clinic.
We are looking for an individual who loves to help people and works well in a team driven environment.
Part-time / Full-time
Expected hours: 20-38
Schedule:
We are open Tuesday to Saturday so you would need to be available those days.
We need someone who is comfortable:
Fitting, selling and dispensing glasses.
Repairing and adjustment of glasses.
Proficient at lensometry with a manual lensometer.
Helping with patient education on eye wear and their uses
Helping with office flow
Minimum 1 year experience.
Support and coach other team members in improving their optical knowledge and skillset.
Perform other tasks as needed, including store daily closing, maintaining store cleanliness, inventory counts, and other duties assigned.
Strong organizational, time management and computer skills
Great at problem solving and a self starter.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities:
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on their prescriptions and lifestyle needs
Perform frame adjustments and provide ongoing care for patient needs

Friday: 9am-5:30pm
Saturday 9am-3pm
