We are a warm and energetic optometry clinic with a single exam lane and a team culture that truly sets us apart. Operating Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, we serve a diverse and dynamic patient base made up largely of young adults and working professionals. Our tight-knit team of seven — led by one dedicated lead optometrist and supported by six staff members — runs a highly collaborative practice where four team members are fully cross-trained across all clinic functions, including one who is currently completing their opticianry studies. We are seeking a motivated Optometrist who is eager to grow clinically, particularly in dry eye disease management and myopia control. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build meaningful expertise while delivering thoughtful, patient-focused care.

Schedule & Patient Care
 
● Flexible scheduling available. As of Feb 1 looking for Tues, Sat, Sun
 
● Primary need is weekends (mainly Sundays) and evenings between 11 to 8pm
 
● Approximately 15–20 patients per day on weekends (20 min schedule) adaptable based on personal capability/preference
 
● Structured clinic flow that prioritizes quality care and patient education over rushed exams

● Sales experience related to optical products is a plus but not required.

The Opportunity:
 
Join FYidoctors in Lloydminster, AB as a Full-Time Lead Optometrist. You’ll play a key role in setting clinical standards, supporting staff, and shaping the future direction of the clinic—all while practicing optometry with a patient-first philosophy.
 
Clinic:
 
Our well-established clinic, serving the community for over three decades, sees a lot of families and some seniors. The incoming Optometrist will be the sole provider to the existing patient base, complemented by our experienced and dedicated staff. We currently operate Monday to Friday, as well as one Saturday a month on an appointment only basis.
