Calgary Society of Optometrists

The Calgary Society is for Calgary and area Optometrists who are members of the Alberta Association of Optometrists. Our aim is to promote new developments in patient care and co-management by organizing quality continuing education and networking events that will continue to strengthen professional relationships and communication among Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, other vital health care providers and industry representatives. The CSO serves as an information dissemination service to local Optometrists and helps industry partners organize their own meetings.

Central Alberta Optometric Society

The Central Alberta Optometric Society is an organization of optometrists in Red Deer and the surrounding area. The purpose of the organization is to bring optometrists in the region together for continuing education in order to enhance the quality of eye care that is being provided. It also serves to promote ongoing relationships between optometrists, ophthalmologists, industry leaders, and other health care professionals. Lethbridge Society of Optometrists


The Lethbridge Society of Optometrists is composed of optometrists from Lethbridge and surrounding communities. It’s a close knit group that meets quarterly to listen to sponsored talks as well as network with peers. Getting together to hear guest speakers offers an opportunity to discuss local issues, professional issues and to socialize. LSO is a great opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge while meeting with colleagues.
