Optometric Staff Program (OSP)

There are many benefits to maintaining a membership. . . . 

Membership fees are $25 per year, administered by the AAO, and entitle the member to the following:

• Minimum $75 discounted conference fee
• Electronic AAO Newsletters
• Opportunity to provide articles for newsletters, help out at conferences, suggest speakers and/or topics for conference  

The AAO is moving in the ‘electronic’ direction. We will be communicating more by email, so please include your email address so we are able to reach you.   Every member will be invited to provide articles for these newsletters.  All members are encouraged to suggest topics and/or speakers at any time --- we want to provide continuing education that is useful and informative. 

One major benefit to being an OSP Member is the member discounts for conference registration. Members save a discounted rate of $75 or more and have the opportunity to win a fabulous prize just for being a member!  

With your membership, you can also log into our member’s only section!  You will have access to the OVC company inserts which is kept up to date, Alberta Health Care billing, and view photos from past events. You need an email address to be able to log in, so please provide us one on the renewal application form!  

If you wish to apply for membership, please download the application form and return it to us along with payment.  Membership must be renewed annually.
