River Heights Eye Care is a new local optometry clinic located in South Cochrane, providing exceptional eye care with advanced state-of-the-art technology and modern and trendy eyewear. We are growing and are looking for an optometric assistant to join our team. If you love working with people and helping them look and feel their best, we want to hear from you! Experience is an asset but not required and we will train the ideal candidate.  We are looking for a friendly team member that enjoys working in a fast-paced and growing environment and who is capable of multitasking. Hours will range between 25-30 hours per week. 

Responsibilities Include:
Greeting patients
Booking and confirming patient appointments
Checking patients in and gathering medical history
Performing pretesting including retinal imaging, OCT, autorefraction, intra-ocular eye pressure, visual field testing, colour vision testing, depth perception testing, and using the lensometer
Assisting in frame and lens selection 
Training new contact-lens wearers
Ordering and dispensing contact lenses 
General office duties (day end, inventory, cleaning, exam room preparation, manage deliveries)
Social media marketing including content development and posts

We are looking for an enthusiastic optician or optometric assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual with a bubbly personality to assist our staff in pretesting, dispensing, insurance and bookings. You would be working up to 5 days per week including some Saturdays. You should be able to adapt to a fast paced environment and be comfortable with computer records.
We share space with medical, dental, chiro, physio, massage, pharmacy, naturopathic and acupuncture clinics. We are expanding our offices to accommodate more medical and dry eye services. On site edging lab available as well.
